An interactive map that works offline on the show floor

Trade-show WiFi is famously unreliable, so a map that needs a connection is a liability on a stand. We packaged the client's interactive services map as an installable tablet app with a service worker that caches the app shell and imagery — so it keeps working with no connectivity at all.

It's the same map that runs on the website, from one shared codebase, and it syncs fresh content from the CMS the moment it's back online — with a little status line showing when it last updated. Editors change the content; the tablets on the stand quietly catch up.
