One platform, seven currencies

As KCR's network of trainers went international, the platform grew with it. Courses can now be priced per currency and payments taken and paid out in seven — GBP, USD, EUR, CAD, AUD, PLN and MXN — with Stripe Connect onboarding rolled out country by country as each market came online.

The currency a student books in is load-bearing: it drives both the price they pay and the academy fee that's later reconciled, so we made it a first-class part of every booking rather than an afterthought. One codebase now serves an academy operating across four continents.
