A premium Shopify storefront for a fine-jewellery retailer

A high-trust Shopify storefront for a diamond and fine-jewellery retailer — a 3D-first product gallery, FAQ rich-results schema, a context-aware header, and buyer-education content the client controls.

Premium, and self-serve

A high-value purchase needs a storefront that feels the part and answers buyers' questions — and a client team that can keep it current without waiting on developers. We built for both.

About

This client sells diamonds and fine jewellery online — lab-grown and natural stones, bespoke pieces and designer collaborations. A diamond is a considered, high-value purchase, so the storefront has to feel premium and trustworthy, present each piece beautifully, answer buyers' questions, and rank well — while leaving day-to-day content in the client's hands.

We heavily customised their Shopify theme: a product gallery that pins an interactive 3D model first, a FAQ system driven by content objects that also outputs structured data for Google rich results, a header that adapts to the page beneath it, and content and SEO controls driven by metafields so merchandisers change copy without a developer.

The store feels as premium as the jewellery, our questions show up in Google, and we can update content ourselves whenever we need to.

How we built it

A multi-stage approach.

01

Discovery

We shaped the storefront around a considered, high-value purchase — premium presentation, buyer education and trust signals — and around keeping content in the client's hands.

02

3D-first product gallery

We reworked the gallery into a single carousel that pins the interactive 3D model as the first slide, so shoppers can spin a piece before they scroll.

03

SEO & rich results

We built a reusable FAQ system driven by content objects that renders both the on-page accordion and FAQ structured data, surfacing answers as rich results in search.

04

Content in the client's hands

We drove collection copy, FAQs and even per-collection SEO controls from metafields and metaobjects, so the client changes content and search behaviour without touching code.

The impact

What changed.

See it before you buy

The product gallery pins an interactive 3D model first, letting shoppers spin a piece before they scroll — presentation that suits a high-value purchase.

Answers that rank

A reusable FAQ system outputs structured data as well as the on-page accordion, so common questions can surface as rich results in Google.

A header that reads the page

The header adapts to the content beneath it — going solid on scroll and inverting its logo and icons so branding stays legible over dark hero imagery.

Content without deploys

Collection copy, FAQs and SEO controls are driven by metafields, so the client's team changes them without a developer.
