Tap to pay, straight from a phone

Paypolli merchants no longer need a dedicated card reader to get paid. Using Stripe's Tap to Pay on iPhone, a phone becomes the terminal — the customer taps their card or phone against it and the payment runs through the same fee engine, settlement and reporting as every other channel.

Behind the scenes it's driven by the platform's React Native app talking to our payments API, with each transaction tagged by reader type so it reconciles cleanly alongside terminal, e-commerce and payment-link takings. For a driver on a rank or a trader at a market, it removes the last piece of hardware between them and getting paid.
